¿Cómo puedo hacer que SR-IOV funcione en Linux*?
La mayoría de las distribuciones de Linux* son compatibles con SR-IOV con los adaptadores Intel® Ethernet de red.
¿Puedo utilizar SR-IOV con Microsoft Hyper-V*?
Sí. Hyper-V* en Windows Server 2012*, Windows Server 2012* R2, Windows Server 2016* y Windows Server 2019* incluyen compatibilidad con dispositivos de red compatibles con SR-IOV. Una función virtual SR-IOV de un adaptador de red física se puede asignar directamente a una máquina virtual. Las versiones anteriores de Hyper-V no son compatibles con SR-IOV.
¿Puedo utilizar SR-IOV con productos VMware*?
VMware vSphere* 7.0, 6.7 y 6.5 es compatible con SR-IOV.

Intel® Ethernet adaptadores de redes convergentes X520, X540 y X550 admiten tanto canal de fibra sobre Ethernet (FCoE) como SR-IOV.
